We can’t do any of this on our own and we wouldn’t want to. We’re so grateful for the people that support us – in so many different ways – and how that keeps our lives connected to theirs. If you’d like to be among those people, here are three ways you can get more involved:
1. Sign up for our regular e-mail newsletter
You can follow the blog on this website for occasional general musings, plus the backstory of how we got here. However, not everything is appropriate for the public domain, so for the REAL inside story and a proper update, sign up to our regular email newsletter below. And to email us, hit the letter icon at the foot of the page. We’d love to hear your news too!
2. Pray
We are big believers in the power of prayer, and it encourages and reassures us so much to know that people are praying for us. Prayer points are included in the newsletter, along with stories about how God has answered. Your prayers genuinely make a big difference.
3. Give
Our new lives are entirely funded by donations. It’s an amazing, humbling privilege to live off the generosity of others. We are supported by 25 individuals, couples and families who give to us on a monthly basis, as well as many more one-off gifts. Regular giving is a massive help as it means we can plan ahead and better manage our budget. We’re currently at around 45% of the monthly funding we need to live a sustainable life in Mexico. One-off gifts are also a great blessing and often mean we can give money away to those in need around us. If you would like to give on a regular or one-off basis, please see below.
Stewardship (Regular and One-off Gifts)
We are registered recipients with Stewardship, a Christian UK based financial administration charity. You can make a one-off gift or set up regular giving through the link below. Where applicable, the value of your gifts may be increased by use of Gift Aid – worth 25% if you are a UK taxpayer (this is not an option for our close family members).
Online Banking (Standing Order and One-off Gifts)
Regular gifts can be set up by Standing Order, or one-off gifts by BACS transfer for those who have access to online banking. Regular giving allows us to budget more effectively, and so is incredibly helpful. To arrange payments by online banking, our account details are:
